ESPFlash Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the ESPFlash mobile application, developed by 郭逸超 (the “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. The service is provided “AS IS”.

Information collection and use

ESPFlash does not require registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Automatically collected information

The application automatically collects anonymized technical and usage data that cannot be linked to a specific person, including your IP address, device or advertising identifier, operating system and browser details, anonymized flashing sessions, and success or failure results.

We use this information only to:

improve stability, diagnose bugs with Crashlytics, and improve flashing reliability with Firebase Analytics;
display and measure advertisements through AdMob; and
support security and fraud prevention.

ESPFlash does not collect precise location information. If you voluntarily contact us, your email is used only for required notices or direct support.

Third-party access

Anonymized, non-personally identifiable data may be periodically transmitted to service providers that help us operate and improve the application. Those providers have their own privacy policies:

We may disclose automatically collected information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, respond to government requests, or to trusted providers acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Data retention and deletion

Automatically collected information may be retained for up to 24 months and then stored only in aggregate. Because ESPFlash does not create user accounts or collect personally identifiable information, we do not provide a user-initiated deletion mechanism for this non-sensitive data.

Children’s privacy

ESPFlash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action.

Security

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards and limit access to authorized people who need the information to operate or improve ESPFlash. No storage or transmission system can prevent every possible security breach.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the application or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
